Video Worked!

Hey everybody! I finally got the video to upload and put in a cute one of him with his fave toy- the stacking cups of course. Just push the 'play' button and it should start. I hope it works for you because he is absolutely adorable. And do you notice it is NOT in the BH? Yup, it is in our living room in our very own apartment. Well, after our last post, our sweet baby slept an entire 2 hours and then started making some noise that it was time to get up now. When we went in to get him, he gave us that 'oh hey, it's you guys!' look and was smiling more than I have ever seen. I think he likes us. And we of course adore him. Even his terydactle shrieks. :-) We have also discovered in these few short hours that he likes carrots with potatos and that he loves apples. Yum. And now that he is not eating some gross porrige thing, his spit up doesn't actually smell all that bad. We may wait for a couple of days to give him a bath until he is totally comfortable with us, but I can't wait for that too. He will be so cute! And you can guarantee there will be some nekkid photos posted for all to see. Keep commenting and I'll keep posting! Much love to all. Your comments are so sweet and they mirror everything that we are also feeling- happiness, excitement, and gratitude for everyone around us. Have a wonderful day! -m

Maren & Peter, I've been following your blog for weeks. I'm adopting a baby boy again in a few weeks (already have one from Kaz 2 yrs ago). Reading your blog has really helped get me excited for my trip. Rinat is ADORABLE and your blog was terrific. Sharon, San Diego

Sorry I bagged yesterday, I was worn out. I had Mr. Max the entire visit, including some throw up. Yuk.

Video is so cool! Did Rinat get a weigh-in and measurements before leaving the BH? Wondering what size he'll be when he gets back to the states...

Ok, so i just watched that video like 10 times in a row! Who knew that stacking cups could be so exciting not only for Rinat but also for a 25 year old?! He is soooo fun! And I love his little noises. He'll be quite the talker, I'm sure - just like the rest of the Leggetts. Oh goodness.

Love,
Kate

Congrats to the three of you! I'm sitting here on a teacher workday catching up on your blogs tears streaming while reading yesterday's posting and then when I viewed the video I just have to laugh with joy for the three of you.

You will have so many wonderful moments to come and then memories of your experiences.

Beautiful child and parents. What a combination.

to see him crawling, and read your description......tears welled up in my eyes. I am actually having a very hard time typing this.
Yes, the old man is still very emotional....especially when it comes to our new grandson!!!
To say I am proud is an understatement!
Believe it or not, I am at a loss for words.....
Give him a big hug for us. Tell him to keep knocking those cups down. He is all boy!
Nancy and I can't wait to meet & hold him.
Go get 'em Rinat.
Congratulations !!!
Love,
Dad

Hey I have a question. Youve shown the cups in an earlier post. Did you get those there in Kaz? Did you purchase toys in the US or there? (We're waiting, shopping and packing). Thanks! Suz

Hi - just chiming in to say congratulations! I haven't posted before but have been checking in. Rinat was in the same room as my daughter who I sprung from the baby house on July 9. I often saw Rinat when I went to collect her from her room and thought he was adorable then and he looks even more adorable (and happier!) now. I'm really happy for all of you. --JG
