Happy Birthday Mer!
Plane tickets are purchased! We are flying on missionary tickets which I think is kind of funny but our travel guy said they are the cheapest we could buy. Cheap being a relative term of course since the flights to Kaz are unbelievable expensive ( more than twice as much as either of my trips to India or Thailand). And now we are pretty much done with the bulk of errand running and phone call making and now we just need to pack everything up and go.
My friend Carson is coming this weekend to help us get ready and to spend some time being excited with us. She calls every day to ask "Are you excited yet?" but I think she is almost as excited we are. She is bringing her little chunkster who is about the same age that our little one is so we are doing a dry run to figure out what we still need to get to be ready. I'm sure that there are about a million things that we haven't even though of. Better to figure it out now rather than after we get home, right? -m
ps- My case worker says the baby house people have a baby in mind for us already. Isn't that a weird thought? He/She/They are there just waiting for us.

I can't believe that by this time next week, y'all will be on a plane to get your child!! And I can't believe that they already have a baby in mind for you!!! I am so excited, I can hardly contain myself... I even cried (tears of joy, naturally) when I read this post!!!

I'm so excited for you and Peter. You definitely deserve the best. As for packing, did you try the space bags? The babyroom is so bright and happy and I know both of you will be exceptional parents. Have a great flight and I'll be keeping track of your adventures and pictures of baby Leggett.
