It's really going to happen!
Oh my gosh, it's really real now! We have made reservations on a flight leaving DC on July 18th and we will arrive in Kstan on the 19th. I can't believe it! So here's the other news- Peter has decided he is going to try and stay for the duration so I am planning a 'surprise' for each week to keep him entertained. So far I have bought some DVD's and some books but if anyone has suggestions of small things that I can fit in my suitcase, please let me know. Oh, and poor Pedro has to get 6 vaccination shots. Those of you who know him well know that this is a huge ordeal which includes me not being allowed to speak to him the entire way to the doctor's office and then him having the nurse lay him down for the shots. Looks like I'm going to be making all of the doctor runs with our kid...

Awesome! Here's an idea: how about one of the digital picture frames so you can take some pictures of you, Peter and the little one when you meet and then look thru them lots and lots when you're back in your room at night? Let us know if there's anything we can do to help you prepare for this great journey!

ah ha...and I thought it was only Matt who fainted at the thought of shots...I don't know who is going to have the greater experience in this venture...Peter or the new baby!

You may want to pack some spaghetti O's and french bread pizzas. Cant imagine that Peter's palate has expanded to include Pumpkin Samsa and Fish a la Irtysh...kidding...sort of...

Holla Holla!!!! I can not believe this day is finally here. I told you, you all would be leaving around the middle of July WHY DOES no one listen to ME????? I can not wait to see all the pictures of you all in Kaz (yep that is how i am going to spell it) with the new Leggett. How fun and what a special time for you all. I can not wait to see you all next weekend and get all packed and what not. See you soon! I hope this Blig works.
